R32 20.9LB Refrigerant Cylinder
R32 refrigerant for professional servicing of compatible modern air conditioning, mini-split, split-system and heat pump equipment designed for R32 operating requirements. Confirm the equipment nameplate and service documentation before purchasing.
R32 quick specifications
R32, also known as difluoromethane, is a single-component HFC refrigerant commonly used in compatible modern air conditioning and heat pump systems.
Use only in systems whose manufacturer documentation identifies R32 as the required refrigerant. R32 is A2L mildly flammable and must never be mixed with R410A, R22 or another refrigerant.
Sealed and clearly identified
The steel service cylinder contains 20.9 lb / 9.5 kg net weight of R32 refrigerant and is supplied with a sealed valve for professional handling.
- One sealed R32 refrigerant cylinder
- 20.9 lb / 9.5 kg refrigerant net weight
- Approx. 16.5 inches high and 9.8 inches wide
- Non-refillable professional service cylinder
Where R32 is commonly used
R32 may be used to service compatible modern air conditioning, mini-split, split-system and heat pump equipment designed for R32 operating requirements. It should only be used when the equipment label identifies R32 as the required refrigerant.
Residential A/C Systems
Home air-conditioning units, mini-splits and split systems designed for R32.
Light Commercial HVAC
Approved commercial cooling equipment and packaged systems that specify R32.
Heat Pump Equipment
Modern heating and cooling systems that specifically require R32 service.
Made for certified technicians
R32 service must be performed by an appropriately certified technician using approved recovery, charging and leak-check procedures for A2L refrigerants.
Follow the cylinder label, current safety data sheet, equipment manufacturer instructions and all applicable federal, state and local requirements.
- Verify R32 on the equipment nameplate before use
- Section 608 certification is required for stationary equipment
- Recover refrigerant—never knowingly vent refrigerant
- Keep away from heat, sparks and ignition sources
R32 Product FAQs
Clear answers about R32 compatibility, EPA certification, shipping, cylinder weight, storage and delivery concerns.
Yes. This R32 refrigerant is supplied in a factory-sealed service cylinder. The original seal should remain intact until the cylinder is opened by a trained technician for approved service use.
Check the equipment nameplate, service manual and manufacturer specifications. Use R32 only when the equipment is specifically identified for R32 and rated for R32 operating pressures.
R32 for stationary air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment is subject to EPA Section 608 sales restrictions. Eligible buyers generally include Section 608-certified technicians, businesses that employ a properly certified technician, and qualified resellers.
Coolantix may request certification, employer authorization or resale documentation before processing an order.
EPA requires Section 608 certification based on the appliance type being serviced. EPA does not issue a separate certification that is only for R32.
Because R32 is classified as A2L mildly flammable, technicians should follow manufacturer training, cylinder labeling, safety data sheets, ventilation guidance and approved service procedures.
Orders are normally processed within one business day. Standard delivery is generally estimated at 2–5 business days after carrier pickup. Weekend and public-holiday orders are processed on the next business day.
Multiple cylinders may ship separately. Delivery estimates can be affected by carrier routing, weather, hazardous-material requirements and address restrictions.
A carrier label may display estimated, preset, dimensional or billing weight. This can differ from the product’s 20.9 lb / 9.5 kg refrigerant net weight because the cylinder and shipping packaging add weight.
If you have a concern after delivery, keep the cylinder unopened and contact us with your order number and clear photos of the cylinder and shipping label.
Follow the cylinder label and current safety data sheet. Keep the cylinder upright, secured and in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and ignition sources.
R32 is pressurized and A2L mildly flammable, so it can create serious exposure and ignition hazards. Handling and system service should be performed by a trained, appropriately certified technician using suitable tools and personal protective equipment. Never intentionally vent refrigerant.
Do not connect, use or attempt to repair a cylinder that appears damaged, punctured or leaking. Keep people away, avoid heat and ignition sources, and contact local emergency services if there is an immediate hazard.
For visible shipping damage, contact Coolantix when safe with your order number and clear photos. If tracking shows delivered but the shipment is missing, check the delivery photo, entrances, garage, front desk, mailroom and nearby properties before contacting us.
Email contact@coolantix.shop with the order and tracking numbers, or call +1 (825) 360-9654.
Eligible orders ship free via FedEx and are generally processed within 24 hours. Estimated delivery is 2–5 business days within the contiguous United States. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unopened, unused cylinders with original packaging and labels intact. Opened or used refrigerant cylinders cannot be returned for safety and regulatory reasons.
